I started gardening at 8:45 am this morning, stopped BRIEFLY for lunch and finished at 4:41 this afternoon. I have dirt still in places on my person! I was staring at my flowers, willing them to grow this evening...and precursing the weeds that no doubt lurk beneath!
Well, weeds are back. I finally got the sprinklers fixed and they wanted to charge me for seven hours of work even though they were only here for three and a half (but there were two guys, so it was double the work!). I talked the guy down to about half the cost but geeee!

It totally is! They are all back, so I guess I need to battle on. I need a gardner...right after I get the maid! :-)
